Baked Chicken with Mushroom Sauce

My wife not only surprised me with this feat but surprised the whole entire universe. For someone who seldom cook to come up with such a marvelous dish is worth reckoning. Presentation was superb as you can see and I am sure the big question will pop up whether it tastes as good as it looks.

It was superb! Perfectly baked at 175 degree Celcius for 45 mins. Chicken was tender yet juicy. Marinated with  lot's of Italian herbs and black pepper. Finished product is worth a million smiles. With some steamed carrots and broccoli this meal is as grand it can be and I bet 'Her Majesty' would like a bite off it. LOL.

Cheers.

Chinese New Year 2011 Dinner

Happy Belated Gong Xi Fa Cai to everybody!

Hi ! Everyone.... Sorry to have gone MIA for the past weeks. Was just too busy with the recent CNY and was always busy entertaining guests and being entertained as well. It was a fantastic celebration which made me put on some unwanted weight. I had no choice as there was dinner almost everynight during CNY.

This time around just wanted to share some beautifully cooked 'home cooked foodie' which was prepared by my aunt in USJ Subang Jaya. Food was fantastically delicious but the main thing here is not just the foodie but able to spend precious time with family members and loved ones.

Meat Spring Rolls

Roast Duck

Typical Chinese Dish consisting of french beans, squid
mushroom, etc...

GO Green.....

This was just the beginning and there will be more to come.

Cheers!

Fettucinne & Penne Rigate Pasta d' Bolognese - Homemade

T3T4 Homemade = Priceless
Oh! I was so in a mood to cook up something for dinner today. In fact I was getting ready to cook up some chicken dish and also some broccoli. BUT my darling called to request for some Western food instead of Eastern and she specifically wanted to have some pasta.

This put me in a fix as I was not sure whether I have all the ingredients to cook up a good palate of pasta. It took me awhile to run through my inventory and .... and .... yeah ..... dang ...... I do not have any minced meat! But hey since my darling wanted me to dish pasta for her she was more than glad to buy some minced meat for me.

I used a mixture of 'Barilla's' Penne Rigate n.73 and Fettuccine. It just took me between 8 - 11 mins to cook them. As for the sauce I had some Leggos Bolognese tomato sauce mixed with 400 grams of minced beef meat, some red and yellow capsicums, shallots, garlic and some T3T4 ingredients, of course.

Oh la la ........ the finished product was truly amazing. The aroma itself was a killer. The first spoonful was made in heaven. The rest was amazing. So sumptuous, so tantalizing, so delicious, so perfect and so unique in it's own ways. Wink...wink...... lol.

Satisfying indeed. Would it be grilled chicken for tomorrow??? You bet as long as time is with me ..........

Cheers.

Grilled Black Pepper Honey Chicken - T3T4 Recipe

My darling's favourite. She just don't seemed to get tired of it. She just wanted more and more.....  Both my in-laws gave 2 thumbs up too. Yeah we are talking about T3T4's grilled chicken in black pepper and honey. This is one lovely meal which has been enjoyed by close friends and family members only. Yeah in short VIP's only. LOL.

It took me awhile to get it right and there's still room for more improvements. The bird was marinated in extra virgin olive oil, various herbs, honey, salt and Sarawak black pepper. Leave it in the fridge overnight to get  the extra oomph. My recommendation is to marinate it for a minimum of 12 hours.

Put the bird in an oven safe bowl / plate. Pre heat the oven at 230 degrees celcius. Put the bird into the oven and cook for 23 mins each half. Make sure you do not over grilled the bird as it will turn black or will suffer nasty burns to the skin of the bird. This is because of the honey.

The whole chicken will still taste juicy and succulent. A truly wonderful meal. Everyone loves it especially the black pepper sauce. It's hot and spicy which is very appetizing indeed.

As seen here this lovely chicken was served together with a lovely plate of steamed white promfet fish in light soy sauce. A family recipe too.

There were calls for me to 'sell' this chicken. Still keeping mum on this. Who knows.... maybe in the near future. The other recipe ' Grilled Chicken in Orange Sauce' was a hit too. Maybe I should ....... hmmm...... indeed. LOL.

Cheers.

Homemade Beef Burger

This is what I made for dinner today. I was so frustrated and disappointed for not able to have it for lunch today and to make up for that I decided to make my own beef burger instead.

The patty is made from imported minced beef mixed with some T3T4 special ingredients. Grilled to perfection at 200 degree celcius for 13 mins on each sides, the patty still turned out to be juicy and tender. To complete the 'burger' I've decided to fry an egg (half cooked yolk), grilled 2 slices of back bacon, slices of red onions, a slice of cheddar cheese, some beijing cabbage and a wholemeal roll.

Stack them all up and you'll have the Empire State Building in your mouth. Put a dash of mayonnaise and chilli sauce or tobasco sauce..... and you'll on a roll. Holy Cow! Darn delicious and mouth watering. Absolutely 2 thumbs up!

Viola~! The finished product!

Cheers!
