A Customer is the most important visitor on our premises
He is not dependent on us ~ We are dependent on him
He is not an interruption on our work ~ He is the purpose of it
He is not an outsider on our business ~ He is a part of it
We are not doing him a favour by serving him ~ He is doing us a favour by...
giving us an opportunity to do so.
Oh there's so much truth in it.
ReplyDeleteThe Japanese and the Americans have always taught Marketing Graduates that "Customer is always right" and "Okyaku-sama wa Oh-sama desu" Customer is King (or rather God)..
ReplyDeleteWell, I used to be an ardent and religious believer in this "Okyaku sama" thingy but here is my one piece of wisdom:
"NO MAN SHALL DOMINATE ANOTHER BUT INSTEAD LEAD ONE ANOTHER"
If we let our customers dictate their terms freely, we'd die faster than ever. So there must be a balance inbetween.
We call it NEGOTIATION
myxzik, i kind of agree with you to a certain extent. if there is no customer then there will never be a chance for a negotiation to take place.
ReplyDeletethere will be no end to all this 'quotes'...:)
Guys, there's truth in all you've said. I reckon it's how you look at it and how you would want to interpret it, how you wanna deal with it. LOL.
