Quote by Mahatma Gandhi

A Customer is the most important visitor on our premises

He is not dependent on us ~ We are dependent on him
He is not an interruption on our work ~ He is the purpose of it

He is not an outsider on our business ~ He is a part of it
We are not doing him a favour by serving him ~ He is doing us a favour by...
giving us an opportunity to do so.

  2. The Japanese and the Americans have always taught Marketing Graduates that "Customer is always right" and "Okyaku-sama wa Oh-sama desu" Customer is King (or rather God)..

Well, I used to be an ardent and religious believer in this "Okyaku sama" thingy but here is my one piece of wisdom:

"NO MAN SHALL DOMINATE ANOTHER BUT INSTEAD LEAD ONE ANOTHER"

If we let our customers dictate their terms freely, we'd die faster than ever. So there must be a balance inbetween.

    We call it NEGOTIATION

  3. myxzik, i kind of agree with you to a certain extent. if there is no customer then there will never be a chance for a negotiation to take place.
there will be no end to all this 'quotes'...:)

  4. Guys, there's truth in all you've said. I reckon it's how you look at it and how you would want to interpret it, how you wanna deal with it. LOL.
