There was a time when I frequent Petaling Street very often. Those were the times where majority of the traders were locals unlike now. Shopping and bargaining back then was more prettier compared to now when most traders are foreigners. It can get pretty ugly at times. Those were the time where we fancy going there for a good bowl of noodles.
This particular noodle is made available now at Taman Tun Dr Ismail, KL by the name of 'Restaurant Mama Kitchen'. They are famous for it's 'Claypot Loh Shue Fun' and 'Siew Yoke Wan Tan Mee'. Simply fabulous and I was so excited about dining there again but this time at it's Tmn Tun shop.

Claypot Loh Shue Fun @ RM8.00+ |
We were simply amazed when the pot of Loh Shue Fun was brought to us. Portion was huge considering we ordered a small bowl. There was plenty of minced meat accompanied with a raw egg on top of the noodle ready to be mixed well with the meat and noodle.
The taste was simply amazing. I couldn't stop myself from grinning as I was in my own world enjoying an out of this world pot of noodle which was truly delicious.

Siew Yoke Wan Tan Mee @ RM7.00+ |
Before we could finish enjoying the 'loh shue fun' another delicious noodle was brought to us. This time it was the 'Siew Yoke Wan Tan Mee'. I couldn't stop drooling just from looking at the plate of noodle. The 'siew yoke' looks captivating and smelt really good. It was a mixture of lean meat and fatty meat which was amazingly delicious. Mix it up with the delicious noodle and you'll get yourself a 'eat your heart out' plate of noodle. Very delicious, siew yoke was just unbelievable good, wan tan noodle was cooked to perfection, everything was so perfect except for it's a little too oily.

Sui Kow @ RM6.00+ |
Last but not least came a bowl of 'sui kow' which came in a set of 5 delicious succulent sui kow. I was rather disappointed when I had my first second and third bite. It tasted rather bland and just not what I had expected. This was one lousy sui kow I have ever had in my entire life. Size was big enough though which was a consolation.
Conclusion : We had what we came for ~ noodles!!! It was an unforgettable experience as both the noodle was good. For those who prefer a proper meal this restaurant does dish out some interesting dishes. Menu was pretty colourful and there was plenty of choice to choose from. Good food, reasonably priced, huge portion makes this place a winner. 4/5.
Cheers.
